Sometimes you’re invited, but still not welcomed.

Like many, I too have carried the displeasure of being part of this illusion.

Often, I don’t even know what to think—

unsure of how I should feel in these moments.

But along the way, I’ve learned to take it all with a pinch of salt.

Life has its way of crawling back when you least expect it.

And when I look at it that way, I realize the endless race of proving yourself to the world is never worth it.

Because no matter what you do, people will still do what they want to do.

So why take it with a pinch of salt?

Because we were not placed in this world to showcase our talents for the approval of others.

We are here to live in truth, to honor God, and to prove our worth to ourselves.
