Let compassion be my reflex and humility my posture.

I came across this line in a prayer recently, and I must have read it a dozen times. It stirred something deep in me—because it felt like a mirror.

This is who I have always wanted to be.

Or perhaps, who I've always been trying to become—without quite having the words for it.

To have compassion not as a response, but as a reflex.

To walk not with pride, but with quiet strength and humility.

It sounds simple, but living it? That’s where the real work begins.

As I sit with this reflection, I can’t help but acknowledge how much perseverance it takes to become the person you envision yourself to be. It’s not a one-time goal—it’s a lifelong commitment. And I know, with certainty, that I couldn’t have come this far on my own.

Coaching—both receiving and offering—has been the anchor and the compass. It’s helped me strip back the noise, examine my intentions, and choose growth over comfort, again and again. Through it, I’ve learned that becoming isn't just about ambition—it’s about alignment. With values. With purpose. With faith.

There are still many layers of me I have yet to meet.

But for today, I pause in gratitude. For the journey. For the guideposts.

And for the quiet whisper of a prayer that reminded me of who I strive to be.
