And I find myself feeling deeply overwhelmed — but in a good way. I guess that’s why sharing my journey over the last four years feels not only healing but also fulfilling.

It was towards the end of 2020 when I began my CIPD journey. It came with its share of challenges, and I embraced every single one. In the middle of a global pandemic, I discovered I was pregnant. Fear showed up more times than I can count, and I came close to giving up more than once.

But I didn’t — thanks to the unwavering support of my husband and my mum. They lifted me up when I was low, reminded me of my strength, and helped me stay the course.

I’ll never forget the moment before I went in for my C-section — my husband handed me my Associate CIPD Level 5 certificate. He said, “Every time you look at this, remember how much you’ve conquered.”

From that point on, my learning didn’t stop. Neither did my curiosity or my drive to rediscover who I am and what I’m truly good at.

When my daughter turned 2, my ICF coaching journey began. And today, as she walks into her first day of kindergarten, I’m on my way to completing my ACC certification.

Since then, I’ve added so much to my journey — NLP, Emotional Intelligence Trainer, Gestalt Practitioner — all of it with one quiet, powerful intention: to be the right role model for her. Hardworking. Self-made. Grounded.

She woke up at 4:30 AM this morning, wide-eyed and ready — holding me tightly, so excited for her first day. For six months she’s talked about school non-stop. And today, she walked into that classroom with confidence and never looked back at her mama and dad.

Seeing her begin her learning journey reminded me just how much mine truly began with her.
