I was having a conversation with some of my colleagues today, and something interesting came to light — how often we view others from just one side of the coin, or rather, one end of the spectrum.

We talked about appearance — how someone dresses, how they show up — and how quickly that becomes a basis for assumptions.

But here's a thought that stuck with me:

✨ You can't look good if you don't feel good.

Which means your environment, your headspace, your energy — they all play a role.

Some wear suits,

Some wear sarees,

Some wear dresses,

Some wear jeans and sneakers.

Each of us comes from a different walk of life, shaped by culture, values, and context. So is it really fair to judge someone solely based on their outfit?

šŸ’” Maybe the real question is:

Are we confusing dressing with grooming?

Grooming is about intention — how we carry ourselves, not just what we wear. Dressing, on the other hand, is deeply personal — an expression of comfort, identity, and sometimes, practicality.

Let’s start noticing how people present themselves, rather than just what they’re wearing.

Let’s stop reducing people to a single frame — and instead, look at the whole picture.
